Course objectives:
|
Together with DP1, these courses constitute the culmination of the master studies in the field Applied Physics and Physical Engineering. They provide students with the opportunity to independently carry out a substantial theoretical or experimental science project in a current research area. The related aims include to extend the student's knowledge of theories and methods of modern physics, to stimulate to a scientific investigating way of work and to prepare for a professional career or Ph.D. studies.

Requirements on student
|
Requirement for obtaining the course credit is active participation in consultations for working out the thesis and providing the thesis to its supervisor in required by him level of elaboration.

Content
|
Project within the scope of modern program-oriented study programs. The students will finish the master degree project. The emphasis is on independent work of the student. Presenting of the results in both written (master thesis) and oral (defending of the master thesis) form.
