Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with following problems: Elevations a their determination. Elevation system of the Czech Republic, monumentation of points. Levelling - tools and instruments, methods, errors and accuracy of levelling works. Trigonometric measurement of hights. Vertical angle measurement - instruments and tools. Elimination of systematic errors of zenith angle. Detailed survey of hypsometry - tacheometry, surface leveling. Hydrostatic levelling. Barometric levelling. Volume calculation.

Requirements on student
|
Credit:
1. 5 classified tests in terms fixed by lecturer. Test evaluation will be considered within the exam.
2. Submission of all semestral papers (documentation of field work) according to plan of measurements. Semestral paper evaluation will be considered in the exam.
Examination:
Written part: knowledge of fundamental concepts and their applications. Coordinate computation.
Oral part: oriented to logical reasons of geodetic techniques and methods of measurement.
