Course objectives:
|
Tasks and subdivision of geodesy. Form and approximation of the Earth surface. Geodetic horizontal control. Basic elements of geodetic instruments. Angular measurement ? units, tools and instruments, methods of measurement, elimination of errors. Distance measurement ? units, methods of distance measurement, tools and instruments. Coordinate systems in the Czech Republic. Fundamentals of adjustment calculus. Coordinate computations. Detailed survey of planimetry.

Requirements on student
|
Credit:
1. 5 classified tests in terms fixed by lecturer. Test evaluation will be considered within the exam.
2. Submission of all semestral papers (documentation of field work) according to plan of measurements. Semestral paper evaluation will be considered in the exam.
Examination:
Written part: knowledge of fundamental concepts and their applications. Coordinate computation.
Oral part: oriented to logical reasons of geodetic techniques and methods of measurement.
