Course objectives:
|
Imagine the application of knowledge from Prehistory to school (elementary, secondary school) practice. Convey basic organizational, informative and formative requirements of the current school tuition with the issue of Prehistory. Streamline experimental archaeological work in the Czech Republic, thematic museums and institutions should provide an analysis of the possibility of their use for school practice. Create an outline and characteristics of the main West Bohemian prehistoric sites.

Requirements on student
|
Active participation in seminars, knowledge of literature, professional and didactical facts.
Visit of thematic museums and archaeological sites. Project proposal for teaching the history of prehistory at secondary schools - team work. Seminar work, presentation with a referent - professional and organizational provision of teaching lessons at secondary schools or other teaching forms with the subject of history of prehistory at the level of curriculum for grammar school, review of a selected book from the circle of children's literature and literature for youth.
Student will prove successful mastering of the faculty in an acceptable level 80% of the total assignment in the credit test, oral exam.

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
from the didactic theory of teaching the history of prehistory, both European and national. It will gain sufficient insight into the standards of history teaching in the subject of prehistory n secondary schools at curriculum level for grammar school, key competences resulting from the SV Framework Educational Program, overview of teaching media and their use, didactic methods, teaching forms and means suitable for secondary schools.

to compose and impressively present partial applications for the teaching of prehistory history at secondary schools at the level of grammar school teaching, materially and rationally applying key competences in chapters about the history of prehistory, meaningfully fulfilling interdisciplinary relations in a wide range of subjects; in the educational organization area, to plan and conduct excursions to a place important from the point of view of professional work (museum) or archaeological presentation (archeoskanzen, significant archaeological site ...).
