Course objectives:
|
Practical introduction to the issues of the more difficult elements of singing technique and development of student?s singing abilities ? singing articulation, phrasing of Czech and inter-national classicist and romantic songs. Lead students into applying the theoretical knowledge from lectures into pedagogical skills in singing exercise and voice management.

Requirements on student
|
Mastery of breath support, crescendo and decrescendo, correct phrasing, mixed resonance at least in the range of the undecima, balanced vocals in all positions. Play in chromatic transpositions (ascending and descending in PR melody in LR chords) a set of rhythmic-melodic patterns suitable for singing.
Public pre-singing
Successful completion of the test in the theory of singing education.
Required attendance at three concerts organized by the KHC during the semester to be documented by a program.

Content
|
Further development of singing skills ? singing articulation, phrasing, messa di voce and or-namentation (short and long grace note, turn, groupuscule, eventually trill) ) by interpreting songs from the classicism and romantic period. Practice of songs chosen by the pedagogue with the consideration of condition and possible singing development of the student. Chro-matic transpositions of rhythmically ? melodic models for singing exercise (melody in PR, chords in LR) both in ascending and descending way.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
Mastering the basics of breathing, articulation and phonation technique: kostálně abdominal breathing, voice pitched above the range of most mixed resonance, articulation clear with balanced vocals at higher altitudes neutralized. kinds of vocal articulations (staccato, legato and portamento), use of dynamics (crescendo, decrescendo, piano). Skill chromatic transpositions melodic - rhythmic patterns to singing with their own piano accompaniment (upwards). |

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students apply theoretical knowledge from lectures to pedagogical skills in singing, can assemble and play the chromatic transpositions (ascending or descending order - the PR melody chords in LR) file rhythmic - melodic models suitable for singing in frontal teaching Hv. On the interpretation of songs from the classical and romantic periods proves that controls breathing support, correctly frázuje uses mixed resonance in much of the vocal range (at least undecima), has balanced vocals at all positions, she can sing crescendo, decrescendo, messa di voce and has acquired some elements of ornamentation (short and long grace note, packaging group). |
