Course objectives:

The aim of this course is to develop essential skills and academic language for learners who are preparing to study in English at university level. The course is based on authentic content from university textbooks and videos of lecture extracts. Students entering the course should have at least level A2++ in English according to CEFR. After completing the course students should reach level B1 according to CEFR

Requirements on student
|
To receive credit, students are required to achieve the total minimum of 75 points from a final test, a simple presentation, and two short essays. In addition, students are required to attend at least 50 % of lessons.
The point representation of individual parts is as follows:
2 essays: max. 30 points (15 points + 15 points)
Presentation: max. 30 points
Final test: max. 40 points
