Course objectives:

This course is intended for the beginners with the level A1+/A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course prepares students for the target level A2/B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The students should be able to spontaneously apply grammatical and lexical structured covered in the class within their own production.

Active participation in class, presentation of assigned topics, credit test pass of 75%.

Prerequisites

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
- identify the present simple and present continuous verb forms |
- identify perfect and imperfect verb forms |
- identify close future and simple future tense |
- identify direct and indirect speech in present, past and future |
- identify the pronominal adverbs "en" and "y" in a text |
- identify the forms of present subjunctive (subjonctif) |
- identify the passive voice |
- name the basic things, persons and activities relating to the common topics of everyday life, e.g. introductions, shopping, leisure activities, food and drinks. |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
