Course objectives:

This course is intended for the students with the level A2+/B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course prepares students for the target level B1/B1+ according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The students should be able to spontaneously apply grammatical and lexical structured covered in the class within their own production.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
- identify the forms of the present tense of regular and irregular verbs |
- identify the perfect, imperfect and plus-que-perfect |
- identify the forms of near and simple future |
- identify the direct and indirect speech in present, past and future |
- identify the forms of the present conditional and the subjunctive (subjonctif) |
- identify the passive voice |
- identify the pronominal adverbs "en" and "y" in a text and conversation |
- name basic things, people, events and activities related to the common topics of everyday life |
- identify lexical means to express quantity |
- identify grammatical and lexical means used to express feelings, security and doubts |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
- use the present simple and present continuous of regular and irregular verb forms |
- use perfect, imperfect and plus-que-perfect verb forms |
- use the near future and simple future tense |
