Course objectives:
|
The course is intended for students of the Faculty of Education and is a continuation of the UJP/FPE3 course. The aim of the course is to equip students who are not studying French as a subject with A2 level competences according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Requirements on student
|
- active participation in class,
- accomplishing homework tasks assigned throughout the semester,
- midterm test,
- passing final test (75% to pass).
Distance students:
- one tutorial per month,
- midterm test,
- final test (75% to pass).

Content
|
Week 1
Introductory lesson. Direct and indirect (COD, COI). Employment.
Week 2
Direct and indirect objects with the imperative mode. Subjunctive. Employement - dress, behavior.
Week 3
Conditional mode. Use of the indicative and conditional mode and the subjunctive. Equality and discrimination.
Week 4
Pronoun adverb y. Relational pronoun o?. Apartment furnishings.
Week 5
Indefinite pronouns (tout, tous...). Human rights.
Week 6
Indefinite pronouns on their own (tout, tous...). Urbanism.
Week 7
Interim test. Pointing pronouns on their own. Interrogative pronoun lequel. Description of the subject.
Week 8
Gerundium. Word formation - forming nouns from verbs. Written advertising.
Week 9
Word shortening (troncation). Pronouns en. Sound advertising.
Week 10
Negation with negative pronouns (rien, personne...). Colloquial French.
Week 11
Simple sentence x conjunction - announcement method x subjunctive. Expressing a request.
Week 12
Final test.

Summary. Evaluation.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
- identify the forms of simple future tense (futur simple) |
- identify the imperative forms of reflexive verbs |
- identify basic expressions of cause and intent |
- distinguish the use of the reference pronouns qui and que |
- identify the forms of imperfectum (imparfait) |
- identify the forms of near past (passé récent) |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
- describe plans for the future in a simple way |
- give advice, recommendations |
- explain in simple terms the cause and intent |
- tell a story in the past and correctly use the perfective and imperfective forms (passé composé, imparfait) |
- describe events of the recent past (passé récent) |
