Course objectives:

The course prepares students for the B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Requirements on student
|
Compulsory attendance. 2 credit tests (75% to pass), completion of homework assignments, presentation on an assigned topic.

3. In a restaurant, menu. Communicative exercise.

Students can:
- take an active part in a conversation related to everyday matters in their life
- engage in conversations on familiar topics covered in the course, e.g. clothing, weather, seasons of the year, travelling, at the airport, checking into a hotel , in a restaurant, ordering a meal, lifestyle
- understand gist of clear and simple messages
- hire services they need on the phone and in person
- locate and exploit the information from various sources such as the Internet, television, commercials, newspapers, magazines
- correctly use the vocabulary from the acquired topics
