Welome!
Welcome to the Courseware for the subject Geography of the Czech Republic in English. This course is designed especially for international students from ERASMUS or other similar programs to gain a deeper understanding of the geographical characteristics and differentiation of Czechia in terms of natural and socio-economic aspects. We will use the example of Czechia to show the inseparable interrelationship between the natural and socio-economic layers of the landscape sphere. Through seminar papers, presentations and ongoing discussions, eorking with several data sources, we will learn about and compare individual regions of the Czech Republic in this context, and also compare them with regions from the students' home countries or other selected foreign regions. All this will enable comparison of different experiences and hopefully mutual information and cultural enrichment of students and teachers.
