KAP/1CIS

| The aim of the course is to introduce to the students the crucial issues of current international politics such as international cooperation, power politics, key international processes and phenomenons from both, the perspective of International Relations theories and the practice of IR. Students will learn about the development of international politics and specific regions in the 20th and 21st centuries with a special focus on the foreign policy of and mutual relations between great and regional powers. Part of the lectures deal with the role of international and regional institutions in maintaining international security and in managing international economy and trade. Among these organizations, a special focus is paid to the United Nations and associated institutions. |
