The aim of the course is to follow the methodological preparation from the bachelor's study and to deepen the student's competence for professional work in the humanities. The student is led in groups and individually to the practice of academic writing, to reflect on the specifics of professional texts of various types and principles of argumentation; it is strengthened in work with information sources and databases, in the correct use of the formal requirements of a professional text, orientation in the requirements of the citation standard. The more general goal is to strengthen the student's preconditions for the correct elaboration of the diploma thesis in the chosen field.
