The aim of the course is to introduce students to some philosophical problems of the history of chemistry and chemistry of modern times, to cultivate an understanding of theoretical and methodological problems of the development of chemistry. The starting point will be the reading and interpretation of classical works on the history of chemistry (Paracelsus, Stahl, Boyle, Dalton, Lavoisier, Meyer, Mendeleev).
