KFI/OEA2
-IS/STAG
The course follows the course KFI/OEA1. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the cultural and historical development and transformations of style of European architecture from Renaissance to the present day, main centers of architecture in specific historical periods and important realizations. Special attention will be paid to the contribution of Czech architecture for the European cultural heritage (radical Baroque, Baroque Gothic, Cubism, Functionalism). In follow-up seminar classes, the students will have the opportunity to become acquainted with major architectural realizations wia two visits on selected sites.
