The aim of the course is to introduce students into the theory of art. At first, to present theoretical approaches to the history of art (theory of styles, sociological approaches, psychological approaches, philosophical approaches). Further, to acquaint students with the problems of ontology of the work of art, both in the relation to the question of the emergence of the aesthetic object in art (painting, image, concretization; control object, object of perception, critical object), and in the relation to the question of truth in art.
