| The aim of the course is to systematize students' knowledge of the history of science in the period from the 19th to the 20th century. Students will gain a general overview of the development of individual scientific disciplines, which were constituted or developed in the period from the 19th to the 20th century. Students will be introduced to important personalities and their philosophical and scientific concepts. Students will also be introduced to the contemporary intellectual, social and cultural context, as well as to the overall evaluation of the influence of the period from the 19th to the 20th century on the further development of scientific disciplines. |
