The course introduces ortophonic principles and ortoepic rules of Russian phonology. The seminar is focused on training and learning of standard Russian pronuciation and eliminating of divergencies in the standart Russian pronunciation, which are mostly caused by the interference of mother tongue. The correct implementation of sounds and suprasegmental phenomena of Russian are practised in order to consolidate the Russian pronunciation. The listening skills of students are developed, as well. The seminar is taught in Russian.
