This course aims to introduce students to given texts concerning humanities and social sciences with regard for problems of cultural studies. Students will learn to analyze common speech and technical language and to discover linguistic unusualness of interpreting in foreign language, not only on morphological and syntactic but also on semantic level. Special attention is paid to formal and conceptual analysis of terminology and to equipollent expression in mother tongue. On the basis of content of chosen texts students will be introduced to problems of present social and cultural tendencies in German speaking countries.
