The course aims to introduce students to the problems of development of major world civilizations, their possible mutual stýkání, continuity or discontinuity of development. Conveys a historical insight into the roots of contemporary civilization, examines the problem of confrontation and struggle civilization. Students will acquire knowledge about basic concepts of interpretive history of human civilization and as such a basic overview of the latest literature. Completion of the course will contribute to building competencies argued discussions on fundamental issues of history topics civilizations.
