The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic issues of world history modern times to bring socio-economic development of Europe in the second half of the 17th and early 18th century, outlining the characteristics of international relations in early modern Europe, help them understand the great political revolution of the 17th - 18 century (England, France, North America and the emergence of the U.S.), the emergence of global markets and colonial rivalries, the emergence of civil society and the industrial 19th century, the struggle for hegemony in Europe and the world since the late 18th century, power-economic organization of the world and Europe in the second half of the 19th and early 20th century, cultural and scientific growth of European society. The partial aim is to introduce the possibility of linking the problems of this course and school practice the basics of didactics of history.
