Milí studenti,
cílem předmětu je zejména mluvit, neboť se jedná a konverzaci. Mluvení v cizím jazyce je klíčovou řečovou dovedností, která ovšem nevzniká automaticky, ba dokonce se někdy rozvíjí velmi ztuha. Jsem přístupná všem podnětům týkajícím se škály probíraných témat.

| The aim of the course is to improve language skills, especially the productive ones and the ability to communicate in selected thematic areas related to current lifestyle (culture, subculture, cinema and film, theater, festivals, social life, town and country, some Russian holidays and traditions). The selection of topics is partly based on students´ interest. Seminars work with authentic materials (audio, video, text). The creative and critical thinking, presentation skills and ability to argue in monologues and dialogues are trained and developed, as well as in various structured debates. Various methods to develop speaking skills, including language, speech and communicative games are applied for the overall strengthening of the communicative competence, automation of using language resources and eliminating language barriers. The attention is paid to active acquiring of new thematic and non-thematic vocabulary and set expressions from expository or journalistic writing, as well as to the accuracy, fluency and cohesion of a language speech and the range or language resources. Some activities are based on methods of creative writing. It is preferred the direct method of learning a foreign language and teaching through activities. |
