| The course is taught in Czech and is designed for those who are interested in modern French literature. The seminar is conducted in a very practical way. Through analyses of selected literary texts, students will study the best known and most published authors of the previous decades (e.g. Michel Houellebeck, Milan Kundera, Christian Jacq, Albertine Sarrazin, Andrei Makine, Alain Gerber, Hervé Guibert, Jean Echenoz, Christiane Rochefort, Sylvie Germain, Georges Perec, Dominique Fernandez, Pascal Quignard etc.). Students will study contemporary trend in French literature (e.g. Workshop of Potential Literature OuLiPo, the TelQuel group, Perpendiculaire revue, etc. ) |
