Course annotation KSS/SOCO -IS/STAG

The aim of the course is to make students acquainted with key sociological concepts. Sociology is defined as a specific form of knowledge. The course deals with its relations to other social sciences as well as with further important issues - the process of socialisation, social interactions in everyday life, social phenomena, social groups, important institutions and organisations of both - modern and traditional society. The course involves reading of sociological literature dicussed during the classes. The course is designed with regard to students of paramedical fields of study.
