Everyone has a desire to reveal secrets. We are attracted by things unknown, things unknown so far, those that are hidden. I believe that each of you feels a slight tension when something appears that you do not understand and would like to "come to terms with it". Because man is a very mysterious and complicated being, whose behavior cannot be predicted to a greater extent, he is a very suitable object for revealing secrets. Therefore, a teacher who has worked with people all his life should have the desire to understand a person even more. Every teacher should try to understand the pupil's behavior. In foreign literature, the issue of physical education is classified into the so-called behavioral sciences. Therefore, every physical education teacher must be equipped with skills and knowledge that will enable him to recognize and examine the behavior of students. There are a number of methods, techniques, ways and tools that can help him to do this. In order to all get similar results, we must follow certain rules and methodologies. And that's what this subject should teach you.

Gradually, we will learn how to write abstract, how to define the problem, prepare a research plan, work with the literature, do a search, select appropriate methods of data collection, design tests, evaluate the results, discuss them and draw conclusions. We will learn to prepare historical, descriptive, correlation and experimental research. Finally, we will get acquainted with the formal requirements of diploma thesis.

So we have a lot of work to do, but it should be usable in practice, and above all it should help us to know what our students are like and how we affect them in teaching.
