| The course builds on the previous courses Art History in Pedagogical Reflection 1 and 2 and on students' experience and knowledge in the field of analysis and interpretation of works of art. In the form of cross-cutting themes, it aims to introduce students to the developmental tendencies of the first half of the 20th century - with an overlap into the second half of the 20th century - in the full range of contexts with an emphasis on the application of the specifics of disciplinary thinking and the cultivation of visual literacy. On the basis of rich visual documentation, not only static but also dynamic (video) with overlaps to other art forms (music, film, literature, etc.), to interpret and analyze specific works of art of the 20th century. |
