Course objectives:

Course is part of creative block; it learns student to perceive and interpret pieces of art. It is possible to enroll repeatedly in the course; maximum 5 times.

Requirements on student
|
Oral presentation of written seminar work on some of themes given by the teacher.

Content
|
Basic categories and terminology of film-theory will be expounded during the lectures. In historical perspective will be introduced main trends of world cinematography and its directors. Particular Czech and foreign movies will be analysed and interpreted at the seminars.
