Course objectives:
|
The aim of the subject and seminars taught in French is to introduce French-speaking world as a community of language and cultural varieties, linked by dynamics of divergent and convergent relations. Attention is paid to cultural and language peculiarities of specific regions, including some emancipation tendencies, and to a continual impact of centers, especially metropolitan France. The emphasis is put on historical, political, cultural and economic relations inside the French-speaking world and benefits of these countries to the world community. The interpretation addresses language expressions of regional differences, including specific issues of background studies.
