Course objectives:

This course is intended for postgraduates/Masters students.
Theoretical introduction of the migration theory issue, presentation of the selected examples of the migration movements and the adoption of the basic relavant ethnographic, demographic, geographic and historical issues. What is the special ethnologic contribution to the study of the migration? What can remarkable to an ethnologist interested in communities that has arisen from the migration? What theoretical approaches can be found in the case of mass migration? Migrations are discussed from the historical perspective and in the context of the recent migration movement ? which is main factor in the ethnic structure of the Europe ? as well.
