Course objectives:
|
The course aims to introduce students running and jogging as the basic human movement. To show that the run is not just a sport or peak of performance issue, but it is also a form of rest and relaxation, form of gaining self-confidence and completely natural increasing of physical condition. Running means not only entertainment but also can lead to stress relief, weight lose and also it increases physical condition. To introduce the basic performance parameters such as HR, aerobic and anaerobic level etc.

Requirements on student
|
Registration to the course Physical Education do students according to their interests, abilities and sports skills. Conditions for gaining the course credit are: respect of the rules of teaching according to the study regulations at the Department of Sport of the University of West Bohemia. Credit is awarded for active participant during the lesson within the semester in their chosen sport specialization. The basic premise is regular attendance and active approach to teaching. Irregular attendance and a passive approach to teaching completely exclude the possibility of granting and obtaining the course credit. In the case of absence of less than 30 % attendance, the student has the chance to compensate the justified and excused absences and afterwards to get the course credit.
