Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to offer students overall overview of French history from Vienna Congress up to present, with the emphasis on the following periods:
o Restoration and constitutional monarchy. Revolution in 1948 and the Second Empire. Parliamentary monarchy. World War I. Post-war development and the Crisis of thirties. France in World War II. IV. Republic. V. Republic and de Gaulle. V. Republic after de Gaulle and its changes in the 2nd half of 20th century.
o The course is in French.
