Course objectives:

The aim of the MA exam is to confirm students have the knowledge of the field, they can actively use modern methods and acquired essential specialist skills, knowledge and competence that they may employ in their future profession or further study.

Content
|
The course is designed for students who wish to complete MA degree of Theory and Philosophy of Communication in the respective academic year. It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which each part generally lasts about 15-30 minutes. The course and other requirements of the exam regulated by the Study and Examination Regulations of The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.
During preparation for the MA exam, candidates may use individual or group consultation meetings with guarantors of disciplines relating to the exam areas.
Final (Master) state examination consists of four obligatory parts:
1) Master's thesis defense;
2) Philosophy and Communication;
3) Semiotics and Approaches to Language;
4) Information Technology.
