Course objectives:
|
The aim is to equip students with a insight into the role of art and art activities in general education, especially in the context of multicultural and multidisciplinary approach. To aquire basic knowledge of concepts with interdisciplinary function.

Requirements on student
|
Successful resolution of a written test in which the student demonstrates knowledge of the issues discussed in lectures in the present scale.

Content
|
1.Art and everyday life - the function and form of art in human life, the transformation of the concept of art in society. 2.Visual artistic expression in the "aesthetic" and "mimetic" approach to art. 3.Education trought art and education to the arts - in what was and what is perceived educational value of art (with the backing of the texts by H. Read, R. Arnheim). 4.The concept of art and culture - a cross-cultural perspectives on different art, expressions of these views in the educational process. 5.Multidisciplnarita in arts and education - the boundary of professional competence, both broad and deep the foundations of our industry, "Renaissance" people in the arts and education, obstacles to cooperation in the fields etc. 6.Exit Art - a presentation of views on the so-called "end of art" with the backing of the texts Danto and Belting, and their importance in education. 7.Worldcreation and fictional world in the arts and education. 8.Art and science - closer cultural relations between the two domains through a presentation of views of artists, scientists, philosophers as well. 9.The role of arts in education - defining the position of Fine art activities (creation and perception) in the current general education. 10. Art in educational contexts - fine mapping of forms of artistic activity in different areas of education.
