Course objectives:

The Final State Exam consists of the defence of the Master thesis and three sectional oral exams. The aim of the MA exam is to confirm students have the knowledge of the field, they can actively use modern methods and acquired essential specialist skills, knowledge and competence that they may employ in their future profession or further study. This course is intended for postgraduates/Masters students.

Requirements on student

Requirements and reading lists will be published by the guaranteeing department. Final exam is administrated with the Dean's notice about requiremenst for final paper works and about holding final exams in BA and MA study programs.

Content
|
The course is designed for students who wish to complete MA Political Science degree in the respective academic year. It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which generally lasts about 60 minutes. The course and other requirements of the exam are regulated by the Study and Examination Regulations of The University of West Bohemia. During preparation for the MA exam, candidates may use individual or group consultation meetings with guarantors of disciplines relating to the exam areas.
