Course objectives:
|
The objective of the archaeological seminar in the third year of the B.A. study is enhancing the knowledge of theoretical approaches, methods and specialized literature, in a close relation to independent study and the research activities of students, which are aimed at the elaboration of a high-quality Bachelor´s thesis. Using the example of the topics investigated in the Bachelor´s thesis, students will present and defend the approaches and methods of their own research.

Content
|
The objective of the archaeological seminar in the third year of the B.A. study is the enhancement of the knowledge of theoretical approaches, methods and new specialized literature, in a close relation to the students´ independent study and research activities, developed with a view to the elaboration of a high-quality Bachelor´s thesis. Following on the preceding courses Archaeological seminar 3-4, the teaching of critical work with archaeological sources and specialized literature will continue, with emphasis placed on the analyses of formal and spatial characteristics.
