Course objectives:
|
The course is designed for PhD studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts. The doctoral research seminar is based on individual work of PhD students. The content of the seminar will consist in a presentation of methods and findings of the student's dissertation. In seminar the students will be rendered a possibility to discuss and to solve common and specific problems of their thesis. Students are led to use formalized methods and to corncern with the theory of science. The aim is to get deep consciousness of the ways how archaeology acquires knowledge of the past.

Studenti se orientují v teorii vědy a paradigmatech oboru, uvědomují si teoretické a metodologické problémy aktuální archeologické literatury, rozumějí vztahu teoretického a empirického aspektu. |

Studenti jsou schopni prezentovat teoretické a metodologické problémy své disertační práce i kriticky hodnotit přístupy svých kolegů v semináři. |
