Course objectives:
The subject follows up the subject Methods of documentation of archaeological localities 1. The aim of the subject is expanding knowledge with principles and practical skills for geodetic and documentation methods - orthogonal and polar. Attention is also paid to contemporary (digital) possibilities of documentation archaeological and monumental objects with special reference to photogrammetric methods (one-shot, intersection, stereo photogrammetry).
Requirements on student
Getting theoretical and practical knowledge of usage of the polar and orthogonal documentation method. Working on a final graphic documentation of conducted archaeological research in terms of an archaeological practice including photo documentation, final sketches and a technical report in a seminar work. Basic mastering of the one-shot photogrammetry method - taking a survey shot, its image adjustments, processing in the software (freeware) SIMphoto.
