Course objectives:

The course is designed for PhD study of archaeology. The aim is to teach students how to write the paper in the publishable form (article, or lecture within professional conference).

Requirements on student
|
PhD student has demonstrated the ability to write paper that, from a formal point of view meets the requirements required for publication in the scientific journal. KAR/STUD1 paper has a range of 10 pages (excluding the descriptive tables and illustrations). Possible topics are non-trivial analysis of the literature connected to dissertation topic, published critical reviews of work or analysis, synthesis and interpretation of smaller sub-set of empirical data.
