Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the issues concerning resuscitation under specific circumstances and care for a patient with trauma. Students will be acquainted with the specifics of war medicine, thermal injuries and radiation emergencies. Students will be oriented in type activities during joint intervention of IRS in which they are emergency medical service provider. As part of their practical activities they will be with the student deepen the skills of urgent resuscitation in specific circumstances, treating the patient with trauma and procedures emergency medical services during joint intervention of IRS units according to individual type activities.

5. Thermal trauma, traumas caused by other physical influences.
6. War medicine. Firearms and splinter injuries. Crush syndrome, blast syndrome.
7. Radiation emergencies. Acute radiation sickness. The activity of the medical component in radiation
emergencies.
8. Typical activities in joint intervention of IRS units I.
9. Typical activities in joint intervention of IRS II.
10. Consultation and completion of lectures, test.
