Course objectives:
|
This class is part of the doctoral study program at the Faculty of Arts. Deeper understanding of project preparation in contemporary archaeology is the aim of the class. Students will master the principles of project preparation of so called endangered as well as safe sites regarding their character, state of preservation and informational potential and with general principles of preparation of domestic and foreign grant projects. Individual work of the students on elaboration of model projects and their defense are emphasized. Special emphasis will be put on the questions of archaeological knowledge and its relation to the contemporary archaeological and monument preservation.
