Course objectives:
|
The objective of the course is to acquaint students to acquaint students to the workplace with the definition of the individual parts of physiotherapy equipment, operation and organizational structure, equipment, work order and safety regulations. Categorize and specify diagnosis and health problems of patients.
Professional practice is focused on independent practical work under constant expert supervision in a healthcare facility. Integrates and confronts the acquisition of theoretical knowledge from preclinical and clinical disciplines with practical activities. Practice of diagnosis and therapy from the perspective of comprehensive rehabilitation in traumatology, surgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, neurology and psychiatry.

Requirements on student
|
Verification of practical knowledge and skills by evaluation of student in practice with targeted examination and leadership exercises, including instruction on the basis of theoretical knowledge fom 1st to 5th semester.
100% Active attendance at a workplace.
Elaboration of a log book of a practical training including 2 casuistries.
Presentation of a workplace plus 1 casuistry at a Student conference.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
Student describes individual components of medical documentation in traumatology, characterizes the components of the patient's history. Student characterizes principles and procedures of reflex massage. He / she names the individual tones according to the prescribed procedure. Evaluates and justifies the possibilities of indicating a wide spectrum of electrotherapy and treatment with light rays. The student classifies individual diseases in the orthopedic and gynecological area, characterizes physiotherapeutic methods in the orthopedic and gynecological indication area, describes the principles of sensomotoric stimulation, lists the principles of Klein-Vogelbach, McKenzie methods and Klappovo climbing, characterizes the procedure and methodology of physiotherapeutic intervention in insufficiency deep stabilization system. The student enumerates the possibilities of diagnosing internal systems including stress tests. It focuses on the physiological and pathological values of the given test and reports the individual results. |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
Student in traumatology, congenital malformations and respiratory diseases of childhood will select from the medical documentation essential information, will take a history, relevant methods of examining the patient, will design and apply appropriate physiotherapeutic intervention by analytical methodologies. It will show selected types of reflection in the desired procedure with the right choice of touch. Due to the desired effects, it selects and performs all kinds of electrotherapy and phototherapy. Student performs sensomotoric stimulation, Klein-Vogelbach and Klapp climbing exercises, design and realization of physiotherapeutic intervention in the field of orthopedics and gynecology. The student performs anthropometric examinations, assesses the body composition and the biological age of the individual. Performs individual laboratory and field tests to assess the functional capabilities of the test individual. The detected values describe, evaluate and suggest options for improving or maintaining the functions of the organism. |

Student/ka charakterizuje problematiku onemocnění, na základě anamnestický dat vyjmenuje možnosti diagnostiky i terapie, hodnotí stav pacienta vzhledem k diagnóze, zdůvodní navržený rehabilitační plán a využití pomůcek, definuje prováděné cvičení odbornými výrazy a popíše vybrané prvky terapie. |
Skills - skills resulting from the course: |
Student/ka provede diagnostiku aspekcí a palpací, testem ověří svalovou sílu, úroveň kloubní hybnosti, vyjadřuje schopnost vertikalizace, lokomoce, soběstačnost, navrhuje medotiku v rámci krátkodobého i dlkouhodobého rehabilitačního plánu, provede manuální terapii a cvičení dle stavu pacienta a stanoveného cíle. Aplikuje prvky speciálních metodik. |
