Course objectives:

The aim of the MA exam is to confirm students have the knowledge of the field, they can actively use modern methods and acquired essential specialist skills, knowledge and competence that they may employ in their future profession or further study.

Content
|
The course is enrolled by students who want to complete their studies in the relevant academic year in the master's field of Philosophy for Artificial Intelligence. It is an oral exam that takes place in front of the committee and each part of it usually lasts about 15-30 minutes. The actual course and other requirements are set out in the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.
During the preparation for the master's exam, the student has the opportunity to use individual or group consultations with the guarantors of individual disciplines that relate to the areas of the exam.
The final state (master's) exam consists of four compulsory parts:
1) Defense of diploma thesis;
2) Philosophy of science and technology;
3) Philosophy of language and mind;
4) Artificial intelligence for philosophy.
