Course objectives:
|
The course is intended for students of the doctoral study program.
In accordance with the focus of study in the artistic and artistic-theoretical field, the course is devoted to the formative share of the visual art to transform the unconscious and conscious gnoseological potencies of the individual and to deepen cooperative and coordination functions of society. The relationship between the individual and society is not understood here as dual (universalistic, with dominance society), nor as antagonistic (modern, with the dominance of the subject), but as structural, following the potencies and share of history visual art on ways of integrating individuals into social structuring. The lecture listener offers information to qualified evaluation of their position in the artistic process.

Requirements on student

Credit requirements:
- Written seminar work on a given or before consulted topic, possible presentation in the form of paper within the deadlines set by the teacher.
- Active participation in discussions, based on individual topics.
Requirements for passing the exam:
- Exam in the extent of covered topics and study of literature.

1. Structural relations of the individual and society in the artistic process.
2. Unconscious and conscious forms of visual perception and thinking.
3. The role of visual art in the creation of the semiotic system of society.
4. Interweaving and differentiation of the individual and social in the artistic process.
5. History of visual art as a development of visual signification. Media transformation of forms of visual art.
6. Theory of creativity as an explanation of the artistic process.

interpret with the help of technical terms reproduced or otherwise presented examples of works of art, or visually figurative expressions,
analyze the text and context of a work of art and art,
to realize the values shaping one's own opinions in the field of artistic-aesthetic judgments,
articulate, sophisticated and argued these courts to present to the partners in discussion
reflect different opinions, critically consider them and confront them with their own opinions

basic concepts of philosophy of language (Wittgenstein) and analytical philosophy (Quine, Goodman) related to the issue of artistic expression,
structuralist developmental psychologies (Vygotsky and Piaget) and structuralist semiotics (Mukařovský, Barthes, Lakoff, Johnson) on ontogenetic, phylogenetic and semantic patterns of the evolution of the symbolic expression of man
new media theory (Manovich) and theory of fine art (Kulka, Ciporanov) as a support for theoretical reflection of one's own creation |

better understanding, reflecting and describing the links of their own creation to the wider socio-cultural context
understands the interpretation of a work in the application of individual sensuality, personality creative metaphorical thinking and organization of social application of creativity,
