Course objectives:
|
The goal of the course is to strengthen students' speaking abilities namely public speaking and journalistic style. Further it aims to learn the structures of the Russian language from the contrastive point of view. Students will gain active competence of 800 lexical units based on the communicative-functional and topical-situational basis: humankind and its world using socio-cultural aspects and social conventions. Further, students will acquire the phonetic, graphical and grammatical system of the Russian language.The subject extends the subject KSJ/JC1R.

Requirements on student

The course is completed with credit. The requirements are:
1. Active participation in seminars.
2. Credit test limit for passing is 70 % (in Week 7)
3. Final test limit for passing is 70 % (in Week 13).

Introduction to the plan of course. Information about literature and requirements.
Lesson 9, pp. 203- 217
How to ask for permission. Expression of the application, approval, rejection. How to make an appointment.
Formulation desire, proposal. How express an incentive to an action by another person. Expression of necessity.
Week 2
Lesson 9, pp.218- 234
The request for advice, for help. The meeting of representatives of companies. Office, office equipment.
How to express purpose. Apartment for rent. Call to the real estate agency. How to register a company, to lease an office.
Week 3
Lesson 10, pp. 235-249
How to say what will happen in the future. The date of the happening events. Invitation, the response to the invitation. Marking of addresse. Where who / what is. How to express single unidirectional movement.
