Course objectives:
|
To acquaint students with the functions of administrative texts, administrative formalities are communicated, and the means of achieving standardization of these texts. At the level of syntax, morphology and vocabulary are introduced language means typical administrative texts. Instruction focuses on the linkage between the theoretical with the reception and its own production of various genre forms of administrative texts in German (eg. A protocol, application, report, business letter, statement, CV, invitation, advertisement). Collected texts are focused on economic policy, public administration, business enterprises, corporate culture, labor market and employment issues in the South German region.

Typical "abuses" administrative style and methods of their removal - loosening 'clumsy' style transposition condensed expression to simpler construction
Reception selected texts of economic policy and public administration in the southern German region
Reception selected texts from the commercial business and corporate culture in the southern German region
Reception selected texts from the labor market and employment policy in the southern German region
