Course objectives:
|
To deepen the knowledge of the history of the 20th century and to present and elucidate the context of modern history with their impacts on particular human destinies and on the fate of ethnic, racial, religious and social groups on selected themes. Warn about expanded opportunities to work with published memoirs, testimonials, documents, movie and sound recordings, search for image and text materials on the Internet, their further processing, and use in teaching. The course also focuses on the presentation skills of students. The course will offer possible ways of interpreting the latest history from the point of view of direct participants.

to prove the knowledge of the historical development in the 20th century at the level of the grammar school curriculum |

Learning outcomes
|
Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
the circumstances of the creation of totalitarian states and powers after the Great War and puts them in line with the ideologies of the 19th century. It describes post-war development as a major factor in further development. It analyzes the influence of new ideologies on the nature of the standing establishment and their impact on the life of individuals from different social, cultural or "racial" strata. It compares the communist and national socialist dictatorship and their influence on the lives of the above-defined groups. It will define the teacher's options for dealing with this substance. Clarify the different and consistent interpretation of communist and national socialist crimes in the memories of witnesses and compare them with relational documents. |
Skills - skills resulting from the course: |
historical argumentation, comparison of historical phenomena, application of historical knowledge in spoken and written expression of witnesses or in the light of contemporary documents. The student will assimilate the basic typology of dictatorships and totalitarian regimes of the 20th century, present their impact on human life in the context of historical events of recent history, generalize and apply acquired knowledge, focus on professional literature, memoirs and memories of witnesses as well as electronic media. |
