Course objectives:
|
Following the previous knowledge of the history of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, the subject aims to deepen and, on selected themes, to present the issue of important ideologies and their influence on the history of the 20th century. The course also focuses on presentation skills of students, planning and realization of teaching of these thematic units. The course highlights the suitability of an extensive offer of educational work with IT (film documents, electronically published sources, picture portfolios, etc.). The content of the subject will be linked to the subjects of the pedagogical-psychological module, namely Reflection and Evaluation of the Quality of Education and Methodology of Pedagogical Research.

Learning outcomes
|
Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
the circumstances of ideological conceptions, especially of the 19th and 20th centuries, and their implementation in the practical politics of mainly totalitarian states. It describes post-war development as a major factor in further development. It analyzes the impact of ideologies based on social Darwinism. It compares the communist and national socialist dictatorship and the way it is presented in teaching. It will define the teacher's options for dealing with this substance. It clarifies the different interpretation of communist and national socialist crimes in Czech historiography and political science and compares it with the contemporary interpretation. |
Skills - skills resulting from the course: |
historical argumentation, comparison of concrete ideologies and their expression, application of historical knowledge in spoken and written expression, didactic applications of historical and knowledge. Learning outcomes of the course unit The student will assimilate the basic typology of ideologies and totalitarian regimes of the 20th century, can argue through historical events of the recent history, generalize and apply acquired knowledge, focus on professional literature, electronic media. |
