Course objectives:

The goal of this course is to define the notion of cultural heritage, to familiarize students with the most significant monuments of the Czech Republic and the Pilsen region. It will also be described how care site is currently implemented in the Republic (Heritage Act).

Requirements on student
|
Students are expected to have knowledge of taught issues and they are also obliged to work out a seminar paper on a given topic.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students can explain the concept of cultural heritage and its conservation. They capture the essence of heritage law and they are able to list the authorities implementing the Conservation of Historic Sites. They will also get an overview of the major sites of the Czech Republic. |
