Course objectives:
|
The student gains additional experience in playing the musical instrument with the goal of its following utilization within the scope of singing, instrumental, auscultatory and motional ac-tivities at nursery schools.

Requirements on student
|
Active participation in full-time study (in case of unfavourable epidemiological situation online performance of study tasks ). Students have audio-video recordings of songs and songs for preschool children.
A student with an A program:
I. 8 small recital pieces for children
preschoolers.
II. Singing and playing vocal and preparatory exercises for practicing songs (singing in the keys of C major, D major, E major, F major, G, A, H major).
III. Playing and singing songs for Kindergarten from the songbook Little Singers with stylization of accompaniments.
IV. Playing and singing minor songs.
V. Playing and singing songs for music and movement education.
VI. Playing and singing songs from the Czech Orff School.
Student with program B:
The program of study differs from the A program in the four recital pieces, which are chosen independently by the students in consultation with the teacher. Greater emphasis is also placed on expression, dynamics, and quality of attack in the interpretation of pieces and songs.
Dialogic methods of work will be used in the teaching. Emphasis will be placed on independent home preparation. Students will be shown compositions and methods of song accompaniments by the teacher. They will have the opportunity to study these examples independently through audio-visual recordings made by the teacher . Individual compositions or songs are written in the Individual Record Sheet. The demands on students are differentiated according to their previous musical experience into Program A (complete beginners) and Program B (with piano experience). Students will receive graded credit when they complete all pre-assigned assignments in the areas of piano performance and complete an end-of-semester playback.
Content of the playback to receive classified credit:
(a) A performance piece from Semester 3 of your choice.
b) A performance piece from the 3rd semester of your choice.
c) Two preparatory or preparatory exercises in transpositions with singing to selected songs.
d) One song from the Little Singers songbook of your choice.
e) One song for movement dramatization or dance of your choice.
f) One folk or art song from Orff School Volume 1 (melody only) of own choice.

record the transposition of selected songs into other vocally appropriate keys
record the waltz accompaniment of a song
create a bagpipe fifth in selected keys
name the chords of the accompaniment cadences of the songs being learnt (at least 15)
explain the concept of chromatic shift |

play selected songs with different types of learned accompaniments: chordal, bagpipe quintet, waltz, polka, breakdown (advanced syncopated) - at least 15
