Course objectives:
|
The course aims to enlarge students' knowledge in the area of German word classes (except verb), by inflected classes also their inflection. The course aims to acquire profound knowledge in this discipline, so that it will improve their understanding in German and allow them resourceful and correct language expression.
The course is focused on grammar theory, specific grammar exercises (practical and pragmatic).
This course follows MOSN1 (German morphology).

Requirements on student
|
Compound pre-examen credit consists of two parts: written test focused on practical part and after passing the oral verifiction focused on theoretical knowledge and its practical application.
Active attitude in lessons is also required for passing this course.
We recommend completing the MOSN1 course.

Content
|
This course deals with German word classes (except verb), by inflected classes also with their inflection.
Substantive - characteristics, use, genus, singular and plural, declension types, building of plurals. Substantive valence.
Adjective - characteristics, use, declension, comparing of adjectives, valence.
Pronoun - use, declension.
Numerals - use, building, declension.
Adverb - subclasses, comparing of adverbs.
Prepositions - Classification, regimen.

to compare the verbal system of contemporary German contrastively with the situation in the own language |
to identify and correctly describe individual verbal forms |
to validate their conclusions about the German verb system in the current grammar manuals |

to form the correct forms of the complex system of the verb of contemporary German |
to apply the knowledge of the system of the contemporary German verb in the formation of their own speech in German |
to correct any interference from the own language in the creation and application of verbal forms |
to analyze verb forms in German written text |
to convert the Czech and German verb forms into two ways |
